Terms of Service

Welcome to hometownhero.io (the “Site”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Site and any related communications, including SMS messages, provided by Hometown Hero (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Site, submitting your information, or opting in to communications, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Services & Communications

Hometown Hero provides professional marketing and growth services for home service contractors, including websites, search and local SEO, advertising, and lead-management systems. As part of our operations, we may communicate with customers via phone, email, and SMS messaging.

2. The 3X Guarantee

Paid engagements carry the following guarantee: Three times what you pay us, in tracked work, inside 90 days, or we refund your investment. The terms below define how it is measured and claimed.

  • The window. The 90 days begin on the date of your first payment to us. The free 7-day trial is not a paid engagement and does not start the window.
  • What you pay us. The setup fee and your first three monthly fees paid to Hometown Hero. Monthly fees are billed every four weeks, so a fourth can fall inside the window; it is not counted toward the guarantee. Advertising spend paid to Google, Meta or any other platform is not a fee paid to us and is not counted or refunded.
  • Tracked work. Each lead that our tracking attributes to the systems we operate for you, valued at the average job value and close rate you give us at onboarding. It is measured on tracked leads, not on signed contracts, because larger projects rarely sign inside 90 days.
  • Your part. The guarantee applies while your account is paid and current, and while you give us the access and approvals the work needs and answer or return the leads it produces.
  • Claiming a refund. Email support@hometownhero.io within 30 days after the window ends. We will share the tracking behind the figure, and if tracked work is below three times what you paid us, we will refund those fees to your original payment method within 30 days of your request.

3. SMS Messaging Terms

By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS messages from Hometown Hero. These messages may include:

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Customer service communications
  • Service updates and notifications
  • Marketing or promotional messages (only if separately consented to)

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase.

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. For assistance, reply HELP or contact us at support@hometownhero.io.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information and to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not misuse the Site or interfere with its operation.

5. Privacy

Your use of the Site and communications is subject to our Privacy Policy.

6. Third-Party Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party.

7. Disclaimers

The Site and all services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hometown Hero shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or communications.

9. Carrier Disclaimer

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site or communications after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Hometown Hero maintains its principal place of business, without regard to conflict of law principles.
